Basic Confidentiality Policy

It is VCX Consumer policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is stored in a secure location, is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provide the information (such as to reply to your request or to handle your complaint). For example, when you file a complaint, the personal information you provide will be used to process your complaint.

If you also indicate on our sites that you would like to receive information about other  programs and services, such as publications or membership, your personal information will be added to appropriate VCX mailing lists. You can indicate your desire when completing a complaint form or when you send us e-mail. If at any time you change your mind and would like to add or remove your name from the VCX's mailing list, or correct your personal information, please email us at info@vcx.com

No Release of Information to Third Parties

Personal information will not be released to third parties except to further the purpose for which you provide the information, such as sending your complaint to the individual or company for action, or if release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide or sell personal information to third parties.

No Computer Tracking of Identifiable Information

Our computer is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use, but not the names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our sites.
This information is used only for internal purposes by VCX.com technical support staff.

Information Provided While Purchasing Goods Or Services

Our Shopping Cart processor is set up to track your purchases through our website based on the information provided by you when you set up an account or become a member when making a purchase. By giving your permission via a membership account, our computer does register a "cookie" on your machine to aid your being able to track your past account information and delivery status of purchased goods. The personal information you provide is used to further your online purchase only and any credit card information provided by you is passed through a secure connection using the highest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology available on the internet to the credit card gateway processor we employ during the initial processing only.

Email Opt-In

You are given the option during your initial account sign-up to join our mailing or e-mail list allowing us to keep you informed of new products, specials and other information about our website. This is purely voluntary on your part and if at any time you would like to remove your information you need only contact our webmaster or sales department and request removal or a change of information.

Our computer also recognizes the site where a visitor "clicked-to" on the banner ad of a VCX.com Affiliate/Partner program participant, but we cannot identify the visitor or the visitor's address. Site information is used to confirm participation in the VCX.com OnLine program, and may be used to advise participants of the numbers of visitors who come to our VCX.com OnLine site from their sites. No personal information is collected.

In addition, our web sites track information about the visits to our web sites. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our sites, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our web sites, and what countries those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
